Performance Dates - 28th June to 2nd July (Week 9, Term 2).
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays 6pm to 9pm: Thursday Smart Day sessions: Sundays 3pm to 6.30pm
Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, the 27th of February at 4pm.
All students in the Grease Production will be required to join the Grease Smart Day Option.
All students involved are required to be vaccinated because it is extra-curricular.
Auditions will be from 14th to 18th February during 2nd Breaks.
We would you like to see all students from all year levels interested in being members of:
- the band as a musician
- backstage or sound and lighting
- acting, singing and dancing
- choreography
To prepare for your audition in advance, please collect the dialogue for acting auditions from Ms Hagan in B2 during Week 3. For singing auditions, you can sing a capella (without music) or provide your own backing track.
If you are unsure which character you would like to audition for, ask Ms Hagan for a loan copy of the script.
While you may not be successful in securing your first choice of character, you will be asked to take on a different role based on your audition performance generally and the requirement of the show.
All characters are expected to sing but the main cast will need to feel confident about singing solo.
You will be expected to sing a verse and a chorus from the following songs in character during your audition.
