School Opening

The College Office opens for operation on Tuesday 27th January. Rebecca Johnson is available via email to make appointments should parents or caregivers need to meet with the leadership team who will be available on Thursday 29th January. Rebecca can be contacted on [email protected].

Thursday 29th January - Evening Powhiri
All new students, Families and Whanau to attend Formal Welcome and Powhiri.

Formal Welcome and Powhiri for all our new students and families and new staff and families in the Te Aroha College Hall. School uniform is to be worn by all attending students
* All attendees please be ready at the main College entrance at 5.45pm
* BBQ and refreshments to follow
This event allows our families to meet all the staff and senior students who will support our Year 9 students in their first year of College.

Friday 30th January - 8.40am - Year 9 & Year 13 Introduction Day
Year 9 and Year 13 students to attend all day

Monday 2nd February - 8.40am meet outside the school hall
Full school in attendance - assembly at 8.45am then all students to attend timetabled classes.

Stationery 2026

The stationery booklet of costs, charges and requirements is attached to support students to get set up for the year. A hard copy can be picked up from the school office when open. Please contact Rebecca Johnson if support is required with either uniform or stationery.

Uniform

Uniform items can be purchased at Harry's Menswear & Surf - 226 Thames Street, Morrinsville. We expect all students to arrive in full uniform beginning with the Powhiri on Thursday 29h January 2025.

House System

There are four School Houses: Aotea, Blue; Arawa, Green; Tainui, Yellow; Tokomaru, Red. The school house system is very strong and students will be expected to participate in all house events.
