Dear Parents, Whanau and Caregivers,  

A very warm welcome back to our students, families and whanau who are joining us for the 2024 school year.  School Opening The College Office opens for operation on Monday 22nd January. Rebecca Johnson is available via email to make appointments should Parents or Caregivers need to meet with the leadership team who will be available on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th January. Key Dates for 2024  

Monday 22nd January The Te Aroha College Office reopens for 2024  

Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th January - The Senior Leadership Team and the Deans are available for enrolments or any meetings on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th January.  Please book with Rebecca Johnson - [email protected] - or by phoning 07 884 8625  

Friday 26th January - Teachers Only Day  

Monday 29th January - Public Holiday Auckland Anniversary Day  

Tuesday 30th January - 6.00pm All Year 9 Students, Families and Whanau to attend Formal Welcome and Powhiri. We also invite all new students and their families and whanau from other Year levels to attend this event.  

School uniform is to worn by all attending students.

All attendees please be ready at the main College entrance at 5.45pm.  BBQ and refreshments to follow This event allows our families to meet all the staff and senior students who will support our new students students joining our college 

Wednesday 31st January 8.40am - Year 9 and Year 13 Introduction Day Year 9 and Year 13 students to attend a special Introductory Programme. A BBQ lunch will be provided for Year 9 and Year 13 students. Students need to bring swimming gear, hat, pen, pencil, water bottle and PE Gear. All students need to be in full school uniform.  

Thursday 1st February - 8.40am meet outside the Te Aroha College Hall Full school in attendance - assembly at 8.45am then all students attend timetabled classes.  

Stationery 2024

The stationery booklet of costs, charges and requirements is attached (see below). A hard copy can be picked up from the school office when open. 

Please contact the Dean or Rebecca Johnson if support is required with either uniform or stationery.  

Uniform 

Uniform items can be purchased at Harry's Menswear & Surf - 226 Thames Street, Morrinsville. We expect all students to arrive in full uniform beginning with the powhiri on Tuesday 30th January.    

If you have any uniform items that your student has outgrown we would appreciate any donations for families experiencing hardship. 

Buses 

School buses will run at normal times from Wednesday 31st January. Please note the bus company has changed. Please contact Greenline Bus company if you have any questions about bus routes and pick up times on 07 889 7758 or email [email protected]
