COVID-19 Update 21 March 2020

Following the Prime Minister's announcement at midday today the national Covid-19 alert level has been raised to level 2. Please see the attached website for more information. https://covid19.govt.nz/

What this means for us:

The school will be open for instruction as planned (REMINDER we are finishing at 1.30 this Monday).

However, with alert level 2 students with existing medical conditions should remain home.
This includes:
people with underlying medical conditions that can make you more vulnerable to this virus.

1. People with respiratory conditions, such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), heart conditions, high blood pressure, kidney problems and diabetes.

2. People undergoing a treatment for cancer and blood conditions.

Please be advised that the Covid-19 Alert Levels could change rapidly as advised by our Prime Minister.

We will provide additional advice if this happens.

To support your student's learning please make sure they check their gmail regularly for updates.
